Questions people ask.
Is this an English speaking class?
It is English speaking practice, not a grammar class. You speak English in a small live group, in every session, with a host giving feedback out loud. It suits people who understand English but hesitate or go blank when they have to speak.
Is there a free English speaking group I can join?
Yes. The Open Mic is a free 90-minute live English speaking session online, Saturdays at 12:30 PM IST and Sundays at 12:30 PM IST. Up to 12 people, everyone speaks in the first ten minutes, and no preparation is needed.
Is it online?
Yes. Every session is live and online, so you can join from anywhere in India or the UAE. The free Open Mic runs Saturdays at 12:30 PM IST and Sundays at 12:30 PM IST.
Which platform do you use?
Google Meet. We send the joining link on WhatsApp before each session. Nothing to install beyond that.
Do I need good English to join?
No. If you can hold a conversation in English, you are ready. This is practice at getting your words out under pressure, not a grammar class, and you are only ever compared to your own first score.
Do I have to keep my camera on?
We ask for camera on while you speak, because presence is one of the six things we score. You can switch it off while others are speaking.
What if I miss a session?
Tell us in advance and we will try to fit you into another group that week. Your week-one and final scores are what matter, so try not to miss those two.
What is the refund policy?
If you cancel before the first session of your cohort, you get a full refund. After the first session there is no refund, but you can move once to a later cohort. Full details are in our Terms of Service.
Can my company pay?
Yes. Most companies have a learning budget that goes unspent. Ask your manager or HR what your allowance is, and call it a capability investment, not a course. We send a certificate and your scored report to attach.
Can I get an invoice or a certificate?
Yes. You get a certificate and your scored report at the end. Need a payment receipt for an expense claim? Ask us on WhatsApp or email and we will send one.
